Your security is our top priority. Learn how btccampus protects your API keys and funds while enabling automated trading.
btccampus only requires trade-only API permissions. Your API keys are configured without withdrawal access, making it technically impossible for us or anyone else to move your funds off the exchange.
When you create an API key for btccampus, you control exactly what permissions to grant. Here's what we need and what we explicitly block:
Your API credentials are treated with bank-level security protocols:
Your API key is encrypted in your browser before being transmitted. The plaintext key never touches our servers.
All stored credentials use AES-256 encryption, the same standard used by governments and financial institutions worldwide.
API keys are stored in a separate, hardened database with restricted access. Even our application servers cannot directly read them.
Trade execution happens in isolated containers with no external network access except to exchange APIs.
btccampus is designed to give you full control over your automated trading at all times:
Disable auto-trading with a single click from your dashboard. No waiting period, no confirmation delays.
Remove your API keys from our system at any time. Once deleted, we lose all access to your exchange account.
Set your own maximum position sizes, daily loss limits, and leverage caps. The system respects your risk boundaries.
Every trade executed by the system is logged with timestamps, prices, and reasoning. Complete audit trail available 24/7.
You can revoke API keys directly from your exchange at any time, immediately terminating all access regardless of our system status.
Always keep your API secret key private. Never share it via email, chat, or support tickets. btccampus staff will NEVER ask for your secret key directly.

No. We require API keys without withdrawal permissions. Even if our entire system was compromised, attackers could not withdraw your funds because the API physically lacks that capability.
In the worst-case scenario, attackers could only execute trades (not withdrawals). You would notice unusual trading activity, and you can instantly revoke your API key from your exchange dashboard. Your funds remain on the exchange at all times.
Your API key is encrypted with AES-256 before storage and is never logged or visible in plaintext. We undergo regular security audits and follow industry best practices for credential management.
Yes, and we recommend it. You can whitelist our server IPs in your exchange API settings for an extra layer of security. Contact support for our current IP addresses.
